Abstract

The penitentiary system is the latest sub-system that is directly related to the inmates, and it provides a strategic position in reaching the final destination of the criminal justice system. The penitentiary is expected to reach the final goal of the criminal justice of crime prevention. As for the problem with the problem is how the correctional institution's role in boosting the review of the law no. 12 in 1995 state penitentiary in 2 Kuala Tungkal class 2 ?  what is the solution to the correctional facility's roadblock in boosting human beings to realize misreview of act number 12 in 1995 on the Kuala Tungkal class II b correctional system? This research approach is empirical law. Primary and secondary data types. Observation data collection methods, interviews and documentaries. Research results in the role of the correctional institution as an institution that fosters, such as spiritual coaching, coaching, and personalizing. The impediment is that not all officers master the skills of the coaching process, not all residents of the animal kingdom seriously follow the detainment and personality of the inmates, no family/family support or lack of family support, lack of means and infrastructure to support the development process, and a negative outlook on society. The solution is to send an officer to train and deliver qualified inmates with the necessary knowledge to guide, sort out and categorize inmates, the family must know the process by which the prisoner is going through and thus both gives motivation and support.
