Abstract

This research was motivated by the national breakthrough implementation of Electronic Traffic Law Enforcement by Korlantas Polri to realize and support the 100 Day work program of the National Police Chief, General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, M.SI Towards a Police that is precise-predictive, responsive and transparent, fair, firm and transparent. The aim of this research is to find out the implementation of Law No. 22 of 2009 Article 272 concerning Electronic Traffic Law Enforcement for the Community towards awareness of traffic laws. In order to find out the obstacles and solutions for the West Tanjung Jabung Police Traffic Unit in Implementing Mobile Electronic Traffic Law Enforcement for the Community Against Traffic Law Awareness. The research method in this thesis uses empirical legal research methods, using observation, interview and documentation data collection techniques, then the data is obtained and analyzed.

From the research results, it can be seen that the implementation of Law No. 22 of 2009 Article 272 concerning Electronic Traffic Law Enforcement for the Community regarding Traffic Law Awareness begins with the stages of creating a Mobile ETLE Website, training West Tanjab Police traffic officers in using Mobile ETLE, Socializing Mobile ETLE to the Community, trial implementation of Mobile ETLE and Implementation of Mobile ETLE to the Community. Meanwhile, the obstacles faced by the West Tanjung Jabung Police Traffic Unit in implementing Mobile Electronic Traffic Law Enforcement for the Community regarding Traffic Law Awareness are the occurrence of errors or data errors, limited human resources, uneven socialization of Mobile ETLE, poor electronic ticket resolution procedures. is still quite complicated, and vehicle plates or registration numbers are outside Jambi Province. Efforts made by the West Tanjung Jabung Police Traffic Unit to increase awareness of traffic laws among the public include improving the quality of the ETLE Mobile Website, placing officers in places prone to violations, direct outreach to road users, enforcing conventional ticketing, and using a data input system. manually.
