Abstract

Islamic education and moral development play a crucial role in addressing the challenges of the modern era, including the rise of online gambling. This research explores the concepts, internal and external factors influencing the effectiveness of Islamic education in this context, its role in preserving Islamic values and morality amidst popular culture and individualism, and successful models for overcoming modern challenges. Through a literature-based approach, this study emphasizes the importance of adapting Islamic education concepts to the dynamics of globalization and information technology, enhancing teacher competencies, and fostering stakeholder collaboration. Implementing inclusive and innovative Islamic education models and promoting intercultural dialogue are essential to addressing the complexities of the modern era in shaping individual and societal character and morality.
