FOCUS AND SCOPE
Al-Mizan: Jurnal Ekonomi Syariah publishes original research articles, literature reviews, and critical studies that contribute to the development of theory and practice in Islamic economics and its related disciplines. The journal welcomes theoretical, empirical, and applied field-based research, with a particular interest in studies grounded in local and community-level economic practice. The scope of the journal encompasses the following six areas:
- Islamic Economics: Theoretical Foundations, Empirical Studies, and Contemporary Issues in The Islamic Economic System
- Islamic Banking: Practices, Products, Risk Management, and Innovation in Islamic Banking Institutions
- Islamic Capital Markets and Financial Instruments: Development, Regulation, and Performance of Syariah Compliant Financial Instruments
- Islamic Management: Management Theories and Organizational Practices Grounded in Islamic Values and Principles
- Islamic Business Ethics: Ethical Frameworks and Contemporary Issues in Business Conduct from an Islamic Perspective
- Syariah Economic Law (Fiqh Muamalah): Application and Implications of Syariah Legal Principles in Economic and Financial Transactions
Manuscripts may employ quantitative, qualitative, or mixed-method approaches, including case studies and field research. Through this scope, Al-Mizan: Jurnal Ekonomi Syariah aims to serve as a scholarly platform bridging theoretical development and field-based practice in Islamic economics, at both national and international levels.
